Our company handcrafts all products within 2-3 weeks.
Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.
Made to Order vs. Pre-Made:
Check a listing carefully to understand if a product is pre-made and ready to ship or if the product is ordered before it’s handmade.
The pre-made is shipment ready and will ship within 5 days, while the made-to-order products take 2-3 weeks to be created for you and then will ship.
Look for the following image if a product is ready for shipment immediately:
The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.
Care for your new product(s) by:
* Machine wash gentle in cold water.
* Dry on delicate or
* Hang to dry for skirts dry flat for choli
* Spot clean belts and vests
* Do not use spirit gum remover on bindi. It will eat away at the adhesives.
*Veils are hand wash dry flat ONLY! DO NOT WASH IN THE WASHING MACHINE!
Your product(s) can be damaged if:
* The water the garment was washed in was too hot.
* Was not washed on a delicate cycle.
* Was dried on too high of heat
* By use of spirit gum remover on bindi
* By washing a non-washable garment.
* By washing a veil in the washing machine
Any item that comes in different sizes has an ordering guide in the description.
Please use our size chart to prevent errors in ordering. Each chart may be slightly different.

Custom orders can have a lengthier processing time. Contact me for details.
It is a 90 day layaway plan for items over $100. Your first payment is only 25% down. Payments must be made regularly, as scheduled ( biweekly or monthly), and must be received by us, on or before the day they are due. Once payment has been made in full, your Layaway item will be shipped to you.
Layaway payments are non-refundable and no credit/refund will be issued upon failure to complete payments. If the layaway is canceled we retain the initial 25% deposit.
To participate, put together your outfit using our online shopping cart, then select Layaway as the payment option during checkout. Then look for a message from us setting up your lay away payment schedule.
There are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES on an item that was custom made for you.
These items include:
* Custom dyed skirts, choli, or pants
* Shortened pants
* Custom fit choli
* Any other custom made items.
Shinny Squirrel is proud to ship through USPS.
We happily support and love our international customers.
We ship all International products through USPS that will then transfer your package to your local postal system.
Shinny Squirrel is not responsible for duty or brokerage fees for international shipping.
These charges come from your country during importation of your package.
We do our best to apply fair shipping costs to each order.
* Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout. I do my best to ship based on the total weight of your new goodies.
Selecting expedited shipping during checkout does not ensure a faster processing time. Your product may still need 2-3 weeks to be handmade 5 business days for ready to ship. I will do my best to ship ASAP. The expedited shipping refers to the actual time the post office needs to deliver your new goodies.
RUSH fees may apply on any handmade item that you need in under 2-3 weeks. Please contact me before you purchase if you have questions.
All ready-to-ship items will be shipped ASAP often within 1 business day.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All items must be in new and unworn condition with any and all tags attached.
Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective through the fault of Shinny Squirrel.
Additional non-returnable items:

* Custom fit garments
Please contact me before sending your items back.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, ASAP.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company or PayPal, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately clearance items cannot be refunded.
If you are unhappy with your purchase and would like to exchange it for something different please contact me to start the discussion. This is NOT a guarantee of an exchange. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
*If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We will not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
